Sunday 5th September – walk **** – Hemley circuit – sunny and warm.

After three pretty full-on foiling days and with today’s wind looking light I we were a bit undecided what to do. As it is another sunny, warm day the usual exercises in the garden before I packed a picnic lunch and we headed over to one of our favourites, Hemley Church to eat it. Then we did the short circular walk down to the River Deben with the sea lavender still showing then heading inland when we reached Kirton Creek. The herd of black calves were still in the field as we picked two tubes of blackberries for yet more yummy crumble:) It is so peaceful along here with a nice variety of dragon flies and butterflies, so a pleasant afternoon away from the crowds that flock to Felixstowe when the sun shines! With the mini heat wave continuing for a few days hopefully we can get out on the bikes or walking again!
